Starting in September, classes are from 4 pm to 5:15 pm EST, the first and third Saturdays of each month. The one time $20.00 payment reserves your spot for the entire course. In “Letting Go: The Pathway to Surrender,” Dr. David R. Hawkins introduces the “Map of Consciousness,” which outlines various levels of human consciousness and emotional states. Participants will learn how to identify these emotions, let go of negative states, and replace them with higher emotions. For example:
Shame, Guilt, Apathy: Lowest levels characterized by worthlessness, remorse, and indifference.
Grief, Fear, Desire: Emotions such as sadness, anxiety, and seeking validation dominate.
Anger, Pride: Feelings of frustration, hostility, and superiority prevail.
Courage, Neutrality, Willingness: Higher consciousness begins with facing fears, finding peace, and openness to change.
Acceptance, Reason, Love: States of forgiveness, intellectual understanding, and unconditional acceptance emerge.
Joy, Peace: The highest levels entail profound happiness, tranquility, and unity with the universe.
Understanding these levels can help individuals navigate towards higher states of consciousness, fostering inner peace and fulfillment.
We meet every two weeks. Participants pay a one-time fee of 20.00 for access to the complete course. Students will need their own copy of the book. Discussion questions will be provided for each chapter. The course is expected to last 21 weeks, each session is expected to last one hour. Classes are expected to be held every other Saturday from noon to 1:00 EST.
